Klyftan mellan teknik, lagar och vanor

-

Information Technology versus Civilization
Gaps between Available Technology and Laws-and-Customs
Lech Janczewski, Dr, Dept of Information Systems and Operations Management, University of Auckland, New Zealand, and URBSEC Guest Professor Fall 2013.

IT-development – especially universal networks and huge and inexpensive data storage devices – has changed dramatically the way humans behave, work and collect information. Generally speaking, never in the history of mankind has the gap between available technology and human customs and laws been as wide as in the present. Incredibly powerful tools are now in the hands of both individuals and organizations. Are these tools being used in a reasonable way? Or, even more generally: do we know how to use these tools and what are the consequences of their use?

Lunch: Sandwiches, sparkling water, and coffee served from 11:30.

Registration: Email your name, organization and food requirements, and any allergies to michael.landzelius@chalmers.se.
