Visualisation as a tool for the electrification of heavy transport
To accelerate the electrification of heavy transport, Visual Scale has developed new ways to visualise energy and infrastructure needs. By transforming complex data into clear visuals and interactive models, the project provides industry with a tool that supports planning, collaboration, and informed decision-making for the energy systems of the future.
Study: VR Makes Climate Change More Tangible and Real
At the Gothenburg Film Festival, over 700 people were given the opportunity to step into a virtual reality to experience the effects of climate change on Svalbard. This activity was carried out as part of the project Expanderad Refotografi . Through the project, we have investigated how Virtual Reality can transform the abstract truth of melting glaciers into a deeply personal and emotionally charged experience.
Behind the scenes: how we created an immersive installation
We have produced a short documentary that takes you behind the scenes during the intense hours leading up to the premiere of the immersive installation we built together with our partners. The film highlights the background and purpose behind the installation, as well as the technology that made it possible. It also captures the first visitors’ experiences and reflections, where their voices and emotions became a central part of the knowledge gathered within the project.
Göteborg Opera Opens Its Doors to More Audiences with a Virtual Opera House — Guided by Visual Arena
From insight to innovation: when Göteborg Opera launches the world’s first virtual opera house, it is the result of a multi-year collaboration in which the innovation platform Visual Arena played a pivotal role. By bringing together stakeholders across sectors, exploring future audience behaviors, and testing early prototypes, Visual Arena helped build the knowledge base that made Operaverse possible. The result is a digital platform that opens the world of performing arts to new audiences.
