How does the Gothenburg region stand in the latest AR & VR development trends?
Business Region Göteborg has made a mapping of the companies within AR/VR in Gothenburg, studied the ecosystem and the latest trends within this area. We would now like to invite you to a breakfast seminar where you can learn more and meet some of the representatives of the clusters.
Augmented Reality – AR is live direct or composite view of a physical, real-world environment superimposed with virtual elements. Virtual Reality is replacing the physical world stimulus such as light, sound, taste, touch, and even smell with a computer generated sensations. The pair being the human interface to the latest tech trends, such as IoT, Security, AI and Sensor networks.
The report study show that we have a cluster of almost 100 companies active within AR/VR and the driving industries are Life Science, Automotive & Engineering. To create the necessary interaction within an eco-system, meeting places are essential and for AR/VR Visual Arena at Lindholmen Science Park is the most important location in West Sweden.
