We are currently looking for several committed participants with different backgrounds and skills for our Experience to insights lab. If you are doing your degree project and want to be part of an innovative context, then this could be something for you!

Experience to Insights Lab is an investment in the Visual Arena where, through design and innovation sprints, we creatively search for answers to user-centered problems. As a student, you are guided along an innovation journey, where you explore needs and solutions to find insights.
The design and innovation sprints are time-bound based on your internship or thesis period. Here, as a student, you can explore and test your skills to face real problems faced by organizations.
More than testing and challenging your skills from your education, you gain access to a creative environment where many work to answer challenges worth exploring. You get access to our network and toolboxes to effectively get you through the various stages of the innovation journey.
We value that you challenge us, use your curiosity and creativity to solve important problems. It also assumes that you are good at keeping structure and deadlines along the innovation journey.
You can explore these challenges in your thesis or internship period
- How can visualization help organizations include and engage people in ways that support their challenging sustainability goals?
- Immersive Experience Mission: What will the virtual cultural experiences of the future look like?
- How can empathy for sustainability challenges be created through VR documentaries that follow designers and creators of future services?
- NFT Mission: What does NFT do for creators of future experiences?
- How can AI-generated images create opportunities for new visual experiences?
Who are we?
Visual Arena is a neutral innovation platform that initiates and drives projects that respond to complex problems. We use curiosity and creativity in our experimental innovation and design approach and come up with answers and solutions that matter most to society, organizations and individuals.

Scope: 15 or 30 credits
